| I sing: | Classical Music Rock 'n Roll |
A classically-trained soprano, I perform music from a
variety of time periods at venues across the United States. I
made my New York debut at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine,
singing with Sendebar, a medieval ensemble.
I am particularly fond of baroque music, having performed with
ensembles such as the Clarion Music Society, Musique de la Reine and
Ensemble Chanterelle. I currently sing with and am the
artistic director of Charites,
an early music trio that has performed across the United States,
collaborating with a number of artists and groups like Company XIV. I am also
interested in contemporary music, having premiered pieces by composers
Bob Lukomski and Dan Shore.
I am passionate about performing early music with
attention to historical detail, while still making this music live and
breathe in a way that is relevant and captivating for modern audiences.
